Dean Vowden best car on Muddy Launceston

Alan and Patrick Keat came out on top amongst the Outfits and Matt Tilley was best Solo

Launceston and North Cornwall Motor Club were back in Lew Woods for their 38th annual single venue Launceston Classic trial.

The day was mainly dry, but with all the recent rain it was a tussle against the mud. In these conditions became a Class Eight battle for the overall win.

Tristan Barnicoat and Jack Selwood overcome difficult conditions for Chairmans wins

Competitors and Marshals were challenged by persistent rain turning the muddy sections into a quagmire.

Dan Keat wins Camel and Jack Selwood the Wheelspin Trophy

Jack and Dean Partington took their year long Wheelspin battle to the wire. Jack taking the honours by one point after the Camel

The Camel was back after being absent for a while because of forestry issues.

Dan Keat was best car, Ben Brownhill Solo and Steve Urell/Julie Williams the class for outfits.

Dan Keat wins Presidents Trial

Dan won by one mark over Simon Groves who had Dick Bolt passengering in his rather smokey Troll in Camel Vales single venue event in Bonyala Woods

There were a couple of retirements. Dave Haizeldens run of bad luck continued when  an injector stuck open causing his Scimitar to loose power. Craig Allen had the misfortune to loose the exhaust on the Beetle he was sharing with Nigel.

Dan Keat won the Presidents Trial

It was a battle of the Class 8’s in this Single Venue Trial in Bonyalva Woods on 3 April 2016. Tris White led until two sections before the end when it all fell apart for the Troll driver and Dan Keat went on to win.

This was a well attended event with an entry of 30 doing battle with the sections organised by Ryan Tonkins young team.
