Camel Vale Motor Club were able to resolve forestry problems that prevented the Camel Classic running last year and attracted a good car entry although they would have liked to see more motorcycles.

As usual the Premier Awards were decided on Index performance. These were awarded to Outfits – Steve Urell, Solos – Richard Madden and Cars – Matt Facey.

In the case of the Outfits and Solos Steve and Richard also got the lowest score in their category.

For the Cars the lowest score was achieved by Ross Hancock in his Buggy who dropped his only marks on the second section.

The Camel also decided the Wheelspin Trophy which went to Josh Moss in his Imp engined Cannon after coming second in Class Eight, ahead of Paul Merson his championship rival.
