The Derek Merson Exmoor Clouds Classic Trial on 9th October was won by Geoff Walker, best solo motorcycle on his Gas Gas pampera, and best overall car was the Cannon of Stuart Bartlett and Kieran Bartlett.

Sunday 25th September dawned quite bright at Burton Dassett as the Midland Centre of the MG Car Club welcomed 31 drivers in 23 cars to the annual Autumn Trial.
The size of the puddles in the car park were a bit of a giveaway as to what the conditions would be like early on, very muddy and slippery, typical Autumn Trial conditions that we haven’t seen for some years.

Keith Sanders was best car, Tristan Barnicoat best motorcycle and Steve Urell best chair
After a long dry spell the heavens opened making the sections on this years Ebworth very competitive

The annual MCC Testing Trial took place in Somerset on 3 July
Adrian Tucker-Peake (MGF) won a dry trial with a clean sheet, beating David Golightly on Test Times. Frank Anderton was best motorcycle

Ian Davis was best car on Airedale and Pennine’s Yorkshire Dales Trial on 8 May. Ian was one of three clean sheets, but was faster than Mike Chatwin and Charlie Knifton on Special Test Times. It was very much a Class Eight event apart from Sam Holmes who was sixth overall, dropping two marks in his 1300 Beetle. Mick Whitehouse was best motorcycle.
