Dan won by one mark over Simon Groves who had Dick Bolt passengering in his rather smokey Troll in Camel Vales single venue event in Bonyala Woods
There were a couple of retirements. Dave Haizeldens run of bad luck continued when an injector stuck open causing his Scimitar to loose power. Craig Allen had the misfortune to loose the exhaust on the Beetle he was sharing with Nigel.

Charlie Knifton was best car and Tony Whitehead best motorcycle but both were decided on Special Test times

Fellside AC under Clerk of the Course Myke Pocock were able to return to some of the events traditional sections after the forestry work of recent years. There was sufficient dampness to make the sections competitive and the results went down to the wire.
Kathy Martin was leading motorcycle at the foot of the last section, the infamous Sandale. Her nearest rival, Tony Whitehead cleaned it on his KTM but the six Kathy dropped left them both on eight and the trophy went to Tony as he was faster on the Special Tests.

Dean Partington won the Cotswold Clouds on 5 February in his DP Wasp. Aaron Haizelden was 2nd overall in his Reliant Scimitar SS and everyone needs to watch out if he ever turns out in a Class 8 car.
Once again Stroud and DMC put on a well supported and hugely popular event which still retains many of its historic hills.
Competitors rated it a very tough, but not rough, event and there were some telephone number scores when the final results were published.
However, overall winner Dean Partington only lost marks on two hills in his Class 8 DP Wasp. The experienced Dean was chased home by two of the younger participants in the sport, Aaron Haizelden and Craig Allen, displaying their mastery of Clerk of the Course Carl Talbots difficult sections.
