It started raining as competitors started to leave The Bull at Hinton start and it didn’t let up all day. This didn’t affect the results to much as the sections on private land which would have turned into a mud pit weren’t available this year.
Consequently it was a low scoring event with only Guys Hill having a significant number of failures.

The weather caused a few problems for the organisers. Notably what would have been a new section, “Tog Hill Challenge”, at of the top of Tog Hill. There was also a problem on Little Uplands when a tree fell just before competitors arrived and the section had to be cancelled.
Finally the Ford at the start of John Walker was a bit to deep but competitors still had a run at the hill via an alternative start.
