Jim dropped four marks on his first ascent of Clinton and it was Nick Deacon who was leading at lunchtime in his X90.
Both Jim and Nick had issues on the first special test, then they both dropped eight on Monica 1. But it was Katies 3 that decided the event when Nick picked up seven when Jim went clean.
