Organised by The Pendennis Motorcycle and Light Car Club the Flora Trial is held in deepest Cornwall. Starting and finishing at The Star Inn, Vogue. near Redruth there were 26 sections for bikes over the 7o mile route.

The diverse entry included classes for regular bikes, cars, bikes with enduro tyres, step-throughs and Quads. The nature of some of the sections meant the cars had to skip some of them but never less tackled 16 hills and two timed tests.

Starting off dry the rain came in during the afternoon but it didn’t damp the enthusiasm of a mainly local entry.
