Aaron was competing in a well supported Class 5 with his Reliant Scimitar, dropping 15 marks, one less than second placed Matt Facey in his Class 3 BMW. One point behind Matt came two more Scimitars in the experienced hands of Dave Haizelden and Keith Sanders.
The results would have been very different if Keith Sanders hadn’t come to a stop on Angel Steps where he dropped seven costing him both the Class and Overall win.
The higher classes had some challenging restarts. Paul Merson started well and was the only Class 8 to surmount the horrendous rock step on Warleggan from a static start. This was equalled by Francis Thomas in Class 7, both going onto Class Wins after repeating their achievement on Park Impossible which was the last section.
Martin Keswick / Josh Cook headed the outfits and Bob Creedy was best solo with ACTC regular Kathy Martin only two marks behind.
