20.30 - And Pre 93, Post Historic and more in the other galleries as well.

3 October 2007 - Oulton Park Race Report - Neil was fourth overall again in Post Historic, giving No1 Capri its first outing since Brands Hatch and establishing a new class lap record. Roger Stanford won, making three podium visits during the day. Group 1 saw a hard race for the Class B championship between David Thomas and Jim McLoughlin. David coming out on top after both spun and re-jointed in separate incidents.

Work is underway on The Oulton Report

20 September 2007 - Thruxton Report - Neil had another good Post Historic race, finishing fourth overall in his no2 Capri. The race was won by Steve Primett who had a super race, passing and keeping Dave Thomas at bay. Group 1 saw an epic battle between Jim McLoughlin, David Hickton and Steve Cripps but this was overshadowed by Mark Fowlers superb drive after starting from the pit lane.

4 September 2007 - Donnington Report - Neil had an excellent Post Historic race, keeping on the island in the very slippery conditions at the end of the day. Roger Stanford won, passing Steve Primett on the very last corner. The boss was back in Group 1, Pete Halford winning in fine style.

3 September 2007 - First drafts of Donnington report and a link to some pictures.

31 August 2007 - Added link to Dave Kirbys Pembrey Pictures to Pembrey Report

21 August 2007 - Added link to Dave Kirbys Croft Pictures to Croft Report

18 August 2007 - Added a few bits and pieces to my Snetterton report, including some links so you can read Stacy's critical views on my reporting and to his site so you can read his take on things generally. The nature of Classical Gas is that everyone doesn't like what's written here. This latest thing isn't the first and it won't be the last, so I thought it was time to add a general disclaimer which is on the sidebar to the left so it should appear on every page.

15 August 2007 - Snetterton Report. Neil was away in Spain but the Classical Gas team were still at Snetterton to watch Roger Stanford have a storming drive to win an exciting race Post Historic race. David Thomas had a race long battle to stay ahead of Steve Primett and Mark Lucock's Escorts. He succeeded and also won his class to maintain his perfect record and lead the championship. Earlier in the day Roger was the star of Group 1. Starting from the pit lane and carving his way up to seventh place in his sick BMW.

1 August 2007 - Updated my very un-official points tables for PHTC and Group 1

Looks like Dave Thomas has Post Historic wrapped up. In Group 1 Neil is in the lead by one point but this will probably not be the case at the end of season when the two lowest scores have to be dropped.

31 July 2007 - Pembrey Report - Neil didn't have such a good meeting as Croft, spinning after some contact in Post Historic and off the pace in Group 1. The highlight of the meeting was Don Hughes win in his Golf. There was an excellent Post Historic race, despite limited numbers with Roger Stanford's presence in the class adding to the entertainment.

26 July 2007 - Link to More Pictures added to Croft Report.

17 July 2007 - Croft Report - Neil won the Group 1 race in convincing style, starting towards the back of the grid but making up places on the grid and gaining the lead on a dampish track on the second lap. Pete Halford won both of the Double Header Post Historic races, winning from Stephen Primett and David Thomas in the dry first race and David Thomas and Roger Stanford in the damp second.

13 July 2007 - Live reports from Croft here http://classicalgas.spaces.live.com/ over the weekend.

19 June 2007 - Silverstone Race Report added.

Latest PHTC and Grp1 Points according to Michael

18 June 2007 - It was a great race in Post Historic at the Silverstone Weekend. David Thomas won the race and the class but Neil had a good race.

30 May 2007 - Points updated

29 May 2007 - Castle Combe Report - It was a very cold and miserable day weather-wise, with all Neilís track time either in the rain or on a wet track. The Fiesta went really well in a race won by Peter Halford in his orange Camero. Neil made a fantastic start finishing sixth overall and winning his class. Things werenít so hot with the Capri which wasnít able to take the grid after technical problems.

25 May 2007 - Updated Mallory Report with pictures by Dave Kirby and a link to all Dave's pictures of the meeting.

15 May 2007 - OK they are not official, but if you Click Here you will see Michaels's version of the points table for PHTC and Grp1

14 May 2007 - Mallory Report - The weather forecast was accurate. It would start raining at around ten, during Group1 qualifying and stop around five in the afternoon when it was time to go home! The conditions were tailor-made for the Fiesta and Neil easily won his class and finished fourth overall, despite a spin. The Capri was a bit more of a handful but Neil bought it home safe and sound for a second in class behind David Thomas.

12 May 2006 - Click here for live reports from Mallory Park tomorrow where Neil will be racing both his 3 litre Capri and Ford Fiesta.

3 May 2007 - Link to the BARC points tables added to the right hand menu bar.

29 April 2007 - Updated Brands Report with links to Dave Kirbys Pictures and Peter Nixons report of his Group 1 race. (Links to both sites also added to the menu bar on the right)

28 April 2007 - Brands Report finished - Blew the Capri's engine but what a good first outing for the Fiesta XR2 in Grp1

27 April 2007 - Brands Hatch Report started and there's lots of pictures in the Photo Gallery.
